Firstenburg Community Center

Vancouver, Washington
Placemaking, Wayfinding, Donor Recognition

Firstenburg Community Center represents one legacy of Ed & Mary Firstenburg’s First Independent Bank, a Washington state success story. As a tribute to the Firstenburg’s love of the environment, graphics throughout the Center evoke a Pacific Northwest theme, using images of native flora and fauna to enhance wayfinding and identity. Stylish banners, appealing to adults and children alike, hang in the atrium to draw attention to activities found near that intersection. Horizontal wayfinding banners, room ID, and wayfinding handouts use similar graphics. Color and pizazz signal fun for the whole community.
