University of Botswana
Gaborone Campus

Gaborone, Botswana

Botswana, one of the least populated countries in the world, boasts a gloriously rich natural environment. The University of Botswana’s updated masterplan proposes numerous sustainability initiatives, including a teaching campus complete with botanical garden, to champion this unique region. Diverse plant materials from nearby savannas, woodlands and bush will also furnish a network of paths, plazas and courtyards throughout the extensive campus. Every aspect of the plan advances the importance of African culture, habitat diversity and academic excellence, for the benefit of the region and the world.
